In the two years since its inception, over 20,000 people have attended its concerts, including many of the areas most prominent social, community and political leaders, musicians, and youth groups.

A famous orchestra piece and childrens story featuring music and spoken text, each musical instrument in Peter and the Wolf represents an animal. The bird is the flute, the duck is the oboe, the cat is the clarinet, the Grandfather is the bassoon, the wolf is the French Horns, the hunters are the timpani, and Peter is represented by the strings. Celebrity comedian Emo Phillips, the narrator, is known for his wandering falsetto voice and childlike delivery that will provide the perfect complement to the music.

He has performed with world renowned violinist Midori at Disney Hall, cellist Kirill Rodin at the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, and was the only Russian cellist invited to solo during the inaugural season of the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. His recent recital at LACMAs Sundays Live concert series, podcast also on KUSC, earned five successive encores.

LeRoy Anderson, who has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the recording industry, was the first artist to ever sell one million copies of an instrumental recording for Blue Tango. His lighthearted musical style employs creative instrumental effects and occasionally makes use of sound-generating items such as typewriters or sandpaper, with often humorous effects.
